13"x19" Digital Photographic Prints, 2012.

These are two of the photographs I shot for my first assignment for my Fine Arts 2270: Digital Photography course as taught by Vancouver artist Ana Black in May 2012. For this series, I shot at different Wal-Mart locations at around 10pm at night, to illustrate how our society today consumes at all hours of the day. These particular photos combine a number of different long exposures of differing times, to form an HDR photo that has more detail than a single long exposure would have. Doing so helped capture a richer detail of the locations and the cars passing by.
