another day...

I rested yesterday cause I was feeling ill. Later in the day I did a lot of ironing yesterday. I was in the habit of washing my shirts but just hanging them... so I had all these shirts that were clean but wrinkled. So now I have a large assortment of shirts to chose from. I made waffles for dinner. The girl I left because she was taking too long on Friday night to get ready tried calling me twice yesterday, but did not leave a message. I still feel bad for what I did, but at the same time she needs a kick in the pants --- if people are kind enough to give you a ride somewhere, don't waste 45 minutes getting ready... or at least say you'll need that much time before you leave the car to go inside and get your stuff. Some of my friends think I need my head examined, cause I'm too easy going and nice to her - I guess it seems that I'll do anything for her and maybe she expects that.

Today... I don't know what I'm going to do. I need to get some cleaning and organizing done - in both my room and elsewhere in our apartment. I'll try and do a little of both. Right now, I'm updating my DVD database with some titles I purchased on Friday.

I also want to do some KSA stuff if I get the chance. I really want to update some of our procedures so I can bring them forward for adoption. We've been slowly re-adopting our procedures, but have not done that in awhile.

I wish it was sunnier outside. The weather sucks right now...

That's about it for now...

I'm feeling like an ass today because I've been feeling ill since last night. I feel like a ton of bricks hit me. My muscles are aching, my stomach is a little off and I have a BAD headache. Because of this I'm burning bridges? Or at least letting others down.

I got frustrated waiting for a friend last night - we had gone to the movies and she was going to see her sister and I was going to give her a ride there. But she had to get some stuff from her house. I opted to wait in the car, thinking it would encourage her to be quick and I'm sure I told her I really wanted to get home, so I could rest. And time went by. And by. And by. I spoke to two friends on the phone during this wait. Finally, 45 minutes later, I just left. I phoned her sister and told her that I had left and why. Her sister seemed understanding. I just got frustrated with waiting - cause I've waited before.

Today, I was supposed to attend a friend's show, but I'm not feeling up to going out. Even though I haven't even met this person yet, I feel bad cause I want to meet her and I want to see her show.

And I want to have my window open but someone is jack-hammering somewhere nearby and it's driving me nuts... but the air conditioning in my room absolutely sucks so it gets warm in here quickly... it's not comfortable to say the least.

Now my Mum is bugging me to do some housework, which I’m not up to doing.

Bleh. Today feels like it’s the day from hell.

I'm going to Ottawa!

Laura Anderson, Titus Gregory, Mat Huff and myself were selected by the KSA Council (Board of Directors) to attend the CFS National General Meeting as the representatives of the KSA. The meeting will be held in late May. I wasn't even present at the time of selection, as I was in a meeting with our General Manager and Gallivan & Associates about our Health & Dental Plan. But when asked about how much money we had allocated for confrences, I had informed Council that I would be willing to go if selected.

Super Happy!

I'm super happy this morning because I was finally able to get THE printheads on my HP Officejet 7130 all-in-one working again. It was saying that the magenta printhead was a bad printhead and earlier it had said something was wrong with cyan. So I replaced those two printheads and cleaned the rest of the unit and after a few test prints the thing seems to work again (crosses fingers).

I'm also starting to organize my receipts from the last year. I used to keep them very organized, month by month, in envelopes and I'd track my spending in Excel. I stopped doing this last spring, not because I didn't want to do it but - well I don't know why. Anyway, I have kept my receipts and it should take a day or two to organize them again. I also need to do this so I can find my textbook receipts and transit receipts as you can claim those now on your tax return - which I also have to do in the next few days.

I also added some new photos to flickr. In particular, the following photosets are new:

PLACES: Canada Line Construction

PLACES: BC Hockey Fever '07

PLACES: Richmond, BC, Canada

Anyway, off to work I go!
